GRADE D, POINT 1 TO 3, £26,421 to £27,334 (Trainee Examinations Officer)

Hours of work: 37 hours per week

Monday to Friday – Full Year

Working hours: 08.00 to 16.00, Monday to Thursday, 08.00 to 15.30 Friday

West Lakes Academy are looking to appoint a professional, highly motivated and organised individual to undertake the role of Trainee Examinations Officer.

This is a specialised role, however we will also consider applications from suitable candidates willing to train as an Examinations Officer.

The successful candidate will:

  • Encourage a positive examination culture in the school to which all staff and students subscribe.
  • Liaise with the National Assessment Agency and Examination Officers Association as appropriate.
  • Make arrangements for internal examinations, including the production of the timetable, rooming and invigilation schedules.
  • Maximise the use of the SIMS Exams module.
  • Keep up to date with the requirements of the role, ensuring attendance at appropriate awarding body and other INSET training meetings.
  • Any other reasonable duties as commensurate with the grading of the post.
