Transition Teacher job summary

Students will be taught their core curriculum by one teacher, following a primary model of single class teaching. This will be complemented by specialist input in areas such as Science, Forest School, Food Tech. This role would suit both current practitioners in both primary and secondary phases.

If you are passionate about giving students a firm foundation in their first year of secondary school, and understand the core principles of good primary practice then this is a job for you. You will plan and deliver creative and stimulating lessons across a range of subjects, whilst supporting their Social, Emotional and Mental Health needs to create a nurturing environment for learning. Your approach to teaching and learning will be innovative and inspirational with a student-centered vision.
