The Diocese of Sheffield Academies Trust (DSAT) is committed to providing high-quality education and support to our schools.
We are looking for a self-motivated and organised individual to join our central team as Administrator / Events Coordinator. We have just appointed our new CEO and we are looking for an experienced administrator to provide support to them and the central team. As a Trust, we are focused on making sure our schools are high-performing and we support our employees to be the best they can be. Our central team offers a professional support service to all our schools and, as administrator, you would help to ensure an efficient and effective service delivery. You will help our Executive Director of Business and Operations, Director of People and Culture and the Chief Financial Officer as required.
We are proud to offer our own package of professional CPD to our employees and you would be responsible for coordinating and managing our events, including booking venues and managing delegate information. You would also manage the CPD platform and ensure its up to date and available to all employees.
We would also like to develop our image within the community through effective use of social media platforms and our website so if you have skills in digital communication this would be an advantage.
You may have experience in schools but, if not, we will provide you with full CPD and training on our systems and procedures.
Essential Criteria:
- Good numeracy and literacy skills (equivalent to GCSE A-C grade).
- Experience in administration within a confidential office environment.
- Competent user of Microsoft Office packages (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams).
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- High attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and work independently as well as part of a team.

Desirable Criteria:
- Previous experience in an education setting.
Additional Information:
- This post is subject to a 6-month probationary period and an Enhanced DBS Check.
- The post is exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act (1974).
