Trust Attendance Officer job summary

Astrea Academy Trust have an exciting opportunity for a Trust Attendance Officerto join their Central Team.

Our successful candidate will:

  • Use specialist knowledge and experience to support pupils, families and academies to ensure at least good attendance and punctuality at school
  • Lead collaborative initiatives to promote attendance across our eighteen primary schools
  • Have previous experience as an Education Welfare Officer, Parent Liaison, Family Support Worker or related profession
  • Understand potential barriers to school attendance
  • Be a skilled communicator - working effectively across different academies, teams and external stakeholders
  • Manage and understand trust wide and academy attendance data, to identify patterns and trends.
