Trust Business Manager job summary
The Link Academy Trust, are seeking to appoint an experienced Trust Business Manager primarily to oversee the financial operation within the Central Business Team based at Landscove School House. The successful applicant will work in collaboration with the Trust Administrator/HR Officer, H&S Coordinator, Finance Team and Deputy CEO to maintain an efficient service in areas of Finance, Estates, H&S and catering and cleaning contracts.
What we are looking for in a candidate:
• With a formal professional accountancy qualification
• At least 3 years’ experience in a financial management role
• Evidence of effective leadership and management of staff
• Proven experience of budget planning and forecasting in an educational setting
• Knowledge and understanding of the Academies Financial Handbook
• A proven team player and ability to work in collaboration with colleagues
• High standards of professionalism and confidentiality
• Strong skills in financial analysis and risk management
