Trust Cover Supervisor job summary
Batley Multi Academy Trust’s sole purpose is to provide an outstanding education through our family of schools. Batley Multi Academy Trust currently comprises Batley Girls’ High School, Upper Batley High School, Batley Grammar School, Healey Junior, Infant and Nursery School and Field Lane Junior, Infant and Nursery School.

We are looking to appoint a Cover supervisor to work on a permanent basis for 32.5 hours per week (Monday-Friday 8am-3pm). The post will be based at Batley Girls’ High School however the successful candidate may be asked may be asked to work across The Trust, therefore own transport and a full clean driving license is essential.
To provide practical support for learning, educational activities, developing social skills, integration and for securing student’s physical and emotional wellbeing.
The successful candidate will have experience of working with children / young people in a school environment, with proven success in using teaching resources and supporting learners. Knowledge of the national curriculum is also essential.
Educated to A-level standard or equivalent, the successful applicant will have good organisation and communication skills and can work well in a team. The role will involve providing support and guidance to individual groups or on a whole class basis through curriculum activities.
