Turner Schools is offering an exciting and unique opportunity for an ambitious leader to further develop the English provision across our schools. The Trust Director of English will help refine our trust-wide secondary curriculum and support the development of our English teachers, to help embed a love of English in pupils and secure excellent outcomes. Our English team of expert leaders and talented, enthusiastic early careers have embraced working as cross-trust subject networks, and the ability to develop and inspire our Trust English departments is an important part of this role. This is the ideal time to shape English at Turner Schools to help us continue to create an environment where all children thrive and knowledge matters.

As Trust Director of English, your role will require you to be an expert teacher who is capable of leading and inspiring colleagues and pupils with a proven track record and an enthusiasm for research-informed education.
