Trust Estates & Facilities Coordinator job summary

Empower Multi Academy Trust is seeking a proactive and skilled Trust Estates & Facilities Coordinator to join our team and play a vital role in ensuring our school environments are safe, compliant, and conducive to learning.

As Trust Estates & Facilities Coordinator, you will:

  • Manage the Trust’s help desk and co-ordinate and oversee reactive maintenance requirements utilising the Trust compliance system.
  • Conduct site visits and support compliance audits across all Trust schools.
  • Maintain accurate asset inventories, site plans, and condition surveys.
  • Compile annual planned preventative maintenance (PPM) schedules and premises plans.
  • Support the COO with emergency planning, business continuity, and project delivery.
  • Comply with Health & Safety regulations and complete contractor vetting.
  • Support the COO and contribute to risk management processes.
  • Promote sustainable practices and value-for-money initiatives across the estate.
  • Work with contractors to obtain quotes for any capital investment plans and support in project managing capital projects.
  • Manage and allocate training for staff on the Trust compliance system.
  • Monitor incidents logged on compliance system escalating to the COO where necessary.
  • Manage the Estates inbox and Estates calendar.

We’re looking for someone with:

  • Experience in estates/facilities management or similar.
  • Strong co-ordination, planning, organisational and IT skills.
  • Problem-solving skills.
  • A commitment to safeguarding, health and safety, and continuous improvement

Location

Based at Shared Services Team Offices, Battlefield Enterprise Park, Shrewsbury, SY1 3EH with regular travel to school sites across North Shropshire .
