Trust Finance Manager job summary

Batley Multi Academy Trust currently comprises Batley Girls’ High School, Upper Batley High School, Batley Grammar School, Healey Junior, Infant and Nursery School and Field Lane Junior, Infant and Nursery School. We provide high quality education for both boys and girls. This collaboration enables us to share expertise, knowledge and best practice to ensure academic and pastoral excellence throughout all of our schools, with all schools embracing the same overall ethos and values, whilst maintaining their own unique characters.

We are seeking to appoint an experienced, dedicated and professional Finance Manager to join Batley Multi Academy Trust. This is a new and exciting role within the Trust. The role will be based in one of our secondary schools (Upper Batley High School) for two days per week and across the Trust for the other three.

The Trust Finance Manager will lead the Trust’s central finance function, being responsible for managing the organisation’s financial systems, including payroll. They will advise on and ensure effective provision of financial management across the Trust; managing a small central finance team.

The successful candidate will hold a formal accountancy qualification (CCAB) or be part qualified with significant experience relevant to the post.
