37 hours per week – 52 weeks per year (part time hours will be considered)
We are seeking to appoint a motivated dedicated Trust Finance Manager to oversee the Trust’s finances as part of ATLAS Multi-Academy Trust, which currently comprises of three schools. We are offering an exciting opportunity for an experienced and enthusiastic Finance Manager to join our team.
The finance team are proactive and forward thinking and this role represents an excellent opportunity for career development. The Trust Finance Manager is a key member of the central services team with significant responsibility for the financial management of the organisation, both strategically and operationally.
Reporting to the Trust Business Manager, you will be responsible for the consolidation of monthly management reporting and forecasts, annual budgets and managing the year end and audit processes. The ideal candidate will be a qualified accountant with experience in a multi-site environment.
You will have a strong customer focus and be able to provide a high-quality service to our schools. A strong analytical approach is essential, along with the ability to develop financial systems and procedures.
You must have excellent interpersonal skills and be able to communicate effectively with colleagues and external organisations at all levels. Previous experience within an education setting would be advantageous, but is not essential.
