The Learning Academy Partnership has an exciting opportunity for a Trust Governance Professional & Compliance Lead. This is a new role which will give you an opportunity to shape the next phase of our School Trust development and growth.

We are looking for someone who is passionate about our mission to ensure that every child has the right to live life to the full, no matter what their starting point. You will be responsible for delivering a high-quality professional governance service across our School Trust working with our Trust Board, Executive Team, and our local advisory boards. Your role is crucial in providing expertise and support to the Trust Board and Leaders on all matters relating to governance and associated compliance.
Our School Trust is underpinned by our four core beliefs; we are stronger together, a sense of belonging; removing barriers and realising the possible. This means that by working collectively, we can achieve our absolute best to ensure that children, especially the most vulnerable, can flourish.

Our Business Support team are based in Newton Abbot and the role requires travel including regular visits to our academies. We are open to flexible working and have several ways this could work, so please talk to us about what flexibility means to you. There will be a requirement to attend regular evening meetings as well as travel so you will need your own transport.
