Full time, 36 hours and 40 mins per week, Monday – Friday. Full year. To commence as soon as possible

The Pinnacle Learning Trust are looking to appoint a permanent Marketing Assistant, to commence as soon as possible.
This is an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic, self-motivated, and highly organised individual interested in marketing and communications and developing their skills through real world experience. In joining our marketing team, you will assist in developing communication campaigns, using social media across all platforms and websites, to help create a positive media space for the Trust and Academies.
Supporting the development, creation and design of the Trust’s online presence, digital promotions and communications, in a lead admin capacity. The role will be based at Oldham Sixth Form College but could involve some travel to our other sites: The Hathershaw College, Werneth Primary School, Broadfield Primary and Alexandra Park School. To work as a key member of the Trust Marketing team to raise the profile of the Trust, its academies and its various offers (e.g. professional development, community links, etc.) both internally and externally. To be responsible for the organisation of the development, capture, creation and design of the Trust’s digital, physical and information based promotional materials.
We are looking for an enthusiastic individual who will work within a team on a wide range of promotional design projects, and related social media channels, ensuring design and branding is on par with Trust standards. You will possess strong communication skills, which will enable you to work with trust staff and external stakeholders, sharing clear messaging and content. We are looking for someone who has a creative mind and passion within either graphic design, photography, web management or similar. Someone who wishes to support a team, whilst developing their knowledge and understanding.
The Pinnacle Learning Trust
The Pinnacle Learning Trust was established in 2017 as a result of the long-standing, strong and effective relationship between The Hathershaw College and Oldham Sixth Form College. Werneth Primary School joined our Trust in February 2019, Broadfield Primary School in April 2023 and most recently; Alexandra Park Junior School in April 2024. Our work is built upon our shared belief that young people in Oldham and the local area should have access to excellent educational provision. We celebrate students’ uniqueness and support our young people to flourish and become responsible, successful citizens who contribute positively to their communities. The Trust’s central services teams include: HR and Payroll, IT Services and MIS, Finance and Estates. Their aim is to enhance the experience of students and staff across the Trust by providing effective and efficient central services which support them to achieve their goals.
Our Trust invests in each member of staff, offering them professional development opportunities, including an extensive in-house professional development offer for both teachers and support staff, in areas such as: Leadership, Teaching and Learning, Mental Health First Aid and role specific training. In addition, our staff have the opportunity to contribute to the professional development of others through designation as Evidence Leads in Education for the Research School; delivery of school-to-school support; support for trainee teachers and involvement with our work as a strategic partner with the East Manchester Teaching School Hub and our Science Learning Partnership Hub.
