Trust Secondary SEMH Lead job summary
This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated, committed
and child-centred Thrive or Trauma Informed Practitioner with a passion for
making a difference to others.
You will be predominately based at Tudor Grange Academy,
Dingle Lane, Solihull B91 3PD but you may be required to work at other
locations from time to time within Tudor Grange Academies Trust. This
will only be the case where this has been mutually agreed.
You will work with key stage 3 and 4 students who experience
social and emotional difficulties, taking a trauma-informed and
relationship-based approach to understanding the impact of these difficulties
and supporting these young people. Flexibility and enthusiasm are key. You must
be qualified and experienced in the delivery of the Thrive or Trauma Informed
Schools approach.
Tudor Grange Academies Trust is a family of academies with
a shared ethos, common values and collective goals. We are working together in
a model of meaningful, focused collaboration to achieve excellence in our
schools. We are driven by four key values:
• Our children will live ‘happy, fulfilling
lives’
• Outstanding teaching and learning are our core
foci
• Outstanding Governance supports our schools
• Leadership and professionalism drive
continuous improvement
The Trust has plans to expand and currently has 13 schools serving children from ages 2 -18. Schools support each other to provide excellent teaching and learning and provide a friendly, safe and caring educational environment.
“The recruitment process is robust in seeking to establish the commitment of candidates to support the school’s measures to safeguard and promote the welfare of children and to identity, deter or reject people who might pose a risk of harm to children or are otherwise unsuited to work with them. With this in mind, applicants must be willing to undergo child protection screening, including an online search and checks with past employers and the DBS.”
