This post is ideally suited to an ambitious teacher, wanting to develop their leadership skills in three outstanding primary schools. This position is working across our three primary schools as named SENDCo at Cringle Brook Primary, Ladybarn Primary and Green End Primary. This position does not have a full class responsibility and includes modelling practice, observing and supporting children, managing a team of staff, liaising with parents, advising staff and tracking pupil progress.
The successful candidate will have a strong drive and determination to ensure that support for every child with SEND is of the highest quality. They will be able to demonstrate excellent classroom practice in ensuring that SEND pupils make strong progress. They will have a wide knowledge of SEND and either have the SENDCo qualification or the willingness to commence it as soon as they start the role. Previous experience of working as a SENDCo would be desirable, but not essential.
Our assessment/interview day is Thursday 20th April 2023.
