Trust Site Assistant job summary
We have a vacancy to appoint an energetic, enthusiastic and physically fit Trust Site Assistant to join our team in this exciting and varied role. You will work at Deer Park School 2.30pm to 6.30pm Monday to Friday to support the Senior Site Manager in locking the school with the remaining hours spent at either Boorley Park Primary, Deer Park or Wildern School. This will be flexible to suit the needs of the schools within the Trust and due to the nature of the job own transport is essential. An example of the working day is;
10.30am – 1.45pm – working at either Boorley Park, Deer Park or Wildern School
1.45pm – 2.00pm – paid travel time to get to Deer Park School
2.00pm – 2.30pm – unpaid lunchbreak
2.30pm – 6.30pm – working at Deer Park School, including locking up
Day to day duties could include unlocking/locking up the school, ensuring rooms are set up for functions, day to day maintenance, some cleaning, grounds works, health and safety checks (full training given), and using a computerised system for logging jobs and record keeping. Helping to maintain a secure and safe environment is vital and the successful candidate will be on the overnight key holder’s register and may be required to attend site in the event of a call out so living within close proximity to the school would be advantageous.
Specific trade strengths in any area would be an advantage but not essential. Lifting, moving and handling of furniture and deliveries also form an important part of the job. Full health and safety training will be given.
The Wildern Academy Trust comprises of Wildern School, Deer Park Secondary School and Boorley Park Primary School. Our staff form a collective team that make a difference to the lives of our students. This is an exciting time for the trust and all colleagues present and future.

• A tax efficient IT Leasing scheme through salary sacrifice
• Friendly and sociable colleagues
• Staff membership rates to our modern on-site Leisure Centre at Wildern School
