Trust Support Cook job summary
This will be 30 hours per week Term Time only plus 5 training days.
The STAR Multi Academy Trust wishes to appoint a highly enthusiastic and motivated Trust Support Cook to join our STAR Eats team working in our school kitchens. The successful candidate must be flexible and able to work under pressure and in a team. Experience of working in a busy kitchen environment is essential.
The role will include:
The core focus of this job is supporting the executive chef and other catering teams to deliver an efficient catering service operating to the highest standards of food safety. The post holder will do this by carrying out duties such as food preparation and service and other kitchen management duties including the supervision of staff, ordering food, stocktaking and administration, serving meals to children and staff, washing up and cleaning the kitchen and dining room when required. The post will involve travel between sites.
STAR Eats consists of 9 primary schools and 1 high school.
