We are currently seeking to appoint a Trust teacher to work across our schools within Woodland Academy Trust who is passionate about ensuring our children receive the very best education.
This is a varied and exciting role, you will be working across all schools within the Trust supporting the schools with cover needs, interventions and boosters, although initially you will be predominantly based at Knockhall Primary School for the first year. Knockhall are at a really exciting stage of their journey, embedding universal design for learning across the school and the benefits this brings to empowering a broad and varied curriculum that encourages a love of learning.
You will have a good understanding of teaching and learning, pedagogy and experience of using educational research such as Rosenshine’s Principles. We are seeking to appoint staff who can work collaboratively with colleagues and who are passionate about providing all children with the very best learning experiences possible.
To be successful, you will:
- Have experience of teaching across all primary phases; experience teaching KS2 particularly would be an advantage
- Be passionate about providing opportunities for children from a wide range of backgrounds
- Be keen to develop and make use of the school’s links with the local community
- Have high aspirations and expectations for every pupil to succeed
- Understand the value of developing the ‘whole’ child.
- Be committed to forging strong relationships with parents
- Be an excellent teacher, committed to achieving the best outcomes for all pupils.
- Have the vision, passion and drive to improve standards in all areas of school life.
The post is full-time on a permanent contract. Applications would also be welcomed from part-time candidates.
