Tutor for Applied Science or Tutor for Physics job summary
Our Science department is based in the Regional Science Centre Oldham and offers Level 2 and 3 BTEC Applied Science alongside Biology, Chemistry, Electronics and Physics AS and A Level and Science T -Level. We are seeking to appoint a highly motivated teacher with excellent subject knowledge and a proven track record of success to join a supportive and knowledgeable team, teaching Applied Science or Physics/ Electronics depending on qualifications and experience of the candidate. Our vocational cohort has a strong progression rate to university to well respected courses such as Radiography, Pharmacology and Biomedical Sciences and the department offers a range of extra-curricular activities, including work experience for all extended students. The dedicated team offers a range of extra-curricular activities in order to help OSFC science students enjoy the sixth form experience and stand out when applying for their next steps.
We are looking for a dynamic, passionate and inspirational Science Teacher to fill the role, who has excellent subject knowledge and is able to contribute to continued improvements in progress and student attainment. This role would suit either a Early Career’s Teacher who is an excellent practitioner, or an experienced practitioner looking for a new challenge.
