Tutor of Science job summary
Breckland School is seeking to appoint an outstanding tutor of Science on a casual basis who will share our determination to transform the life chances of our students. We are looking for a highly effective colleague who works hard and has high standards.
The salary is £30 per hour and the role is a casual contract until July 2022 for 5-6 hours per week, term time only.
You will deliver Science tuition to identified students, in small groups or on a one-to-one basis, focusing on those students whose learning has been impacted by COVID-19. You need to have flair and passion for your subject and be able to inspire our students to achieve their ambitions.
Breckland School is a small secondary school (550 students) located in Brandon, Suffolk.
The school opened in September 2012 for students aged 11-16. We are a fully inclusive school with a distinctively warm ethos and continue to have the highest aspirations for, and expectations of, our students. The school is located within easy commuting distance from the A11 on the border between Norfolk and Suffolk.
We are looking to recruit well qualified and talented staff who will complement and add to a dynamic team and who have all the right attributes to make a valid contribution to the wider life of the school and ensure that students are making the right progress.
