• Job role:
  • Teaching assistant
• Visa sponsorship: Visas cannot be sponsored
• Key stage: Key stage 2
• Working pattern: Part time: The first post will be for the successful candidate to work alongside a Year 4 child for 25 hours a week. The second post will be for someone to work with a Year 6 child. The initial hours will be 15 hours per week (8.30-1130am, 5 days a week). We hope that will quickly build to 25 hours but that depends on the successful integration of the child into full time education.
• Contract type: Fixed term - Temporary, whist the child requires support
• Pay scale: Grade 3 point 6

What skills and experience we're looking for

We are looking for people with:

• Experience and understanding of working with children with Social, Emotional and Mental Health needs (SEMH).
• An empathetic nature, positive outlook, along with the ability to set clear and firm boundaries.
• Understanding and patience.
• The ability to be flexible and ‘think on your feet.’
• Good written and communication skills.
• NVQ 3 or above.
