UKS2 Class Teacher job summary
The Governors of Arbourthorne Community Primary School and Gleadless Primary School Federation are seeking talented and committed teachers for Gleadless Primary School to start in September 2021.
We are a two form entry school situated on a large and attractive site to the south east of Sheffield. We are looking for an excellent Year Six teacher to join us from September 2021. We are a committed and supportive staff team, always seeking to do our best for our children and community. Teachers at Gleadless aim high, both for the children and for themselves - we take professional development seriously and work as a team to improve our practice together. We are in a Federation with Arbourthorne Community School, and this partnership allows us to offer colleagues a wide range of development and career opportunities. Teachers are valued in our Federation and staff wellbeing is good.
Our curriculum is broad, balanced and exciting in every year group. Our children like attending our inclusive school where creative approaches to teaching and learning are encouraged. We work hard to ensure that every child makes great progress and loves learning.
We are looking for a fantastic Year Six teacher who will play a key role in ensuring excellent outcomes for our children. The successful candidate will demonstrate secure knowledge of the National Curriculum and will have a strong track record of continuously developing and improving their practice. Experience in UKS2 will be an advantage, but outstanding NQTs are also welcome to apply. We are also interested in applications from colleagues with the potential to be strong leaders within our school and Federation.
