Unqualified Teacher (PPA/Absence Cover Roles) job summary

We are proud to promote this new and exciting internal opportunity to further develop our support staff. These roles will allow you to share your teaching skills within the classroom by developing motivational and challenging teaching that inspires our pupils and helps them continue to flourish.
The roles will involve teaching classes mainly as a cover teacher to allow class based teachers to receive their PPA time. You may also be directed by your school leaders to provide other cover for teachers e.g management time, first day absence etc.
We are looking for:
Staff who have significant experience as a Teaching Assistant or in another class based role and are looking to improve upon their skills and experience and potentially progress to gain QTS.
Staff who have excellent interpersonal skills with pupils, staff and parents.
Staff who are committed to the involvement of children and parents working together.
Staff who are dedicated to achieving high standards in all areas.
Staff who are enthusiastic about helping the school to meet the challenges of the future.

Whilst the post/posts are advertised as full time, part time hours may be negotiated with your Head Teacher.
