Unqualified Teacher job summary
We currently have vacancy for an Unqualified teacher.The unqualified teacher will undertake all duties required of a qualified teacher identified in the School Teachers’ Pay and Conditions Document.
The expectation is that the candidate is in a position where they are currently working towards or can work towards meeting Qualified teaching status.
Having a degree is preferable, but relevant experience will also be considered.

Purpose of the Positions
The Unqualified teacher is responsible for providing a high quality education where children have the opportunity to grow their independence, develop communication skills and achieve their personal goals. The Unqualified teacher will be responsible for organising and implementing learning and teaching opportunities that will result in children making good or better progress and achieving their personal goals.
The role will also involve assessment, recording and reporting on achievement, behaviour for learning, implementation of pupls EHCP's, and oversight for pupil progress and development. This role will also include the management, support and development of other staff.
This is for a permanent position and we have more than one position available. Where applicants are appointable, but have not been successful in securing a permanent role we may offer a fixed-term contract based across more than one class. There are roles available at Richmond Hill West and Richmond Hill East and you may be required to work across classes or sites, depending on the operational needs of the school at the time.
Hours: 8.30-4.30 Monday & Wednesday, 8.30-3.30 Tues, Thurs & Fri, plus 5 INSET days
The unqualified teacher will undertake all duties required of a qualified teacher identified in the School Teachers’ Pay and Conditions Document
