What skills and experience we're looking for
This is an exciting opportunity to teach Year 5/6 in a unique and idyllic setting within a small, family-focused Federation, which comprises of two successful, self-governing primary schools, working in partnership.
We are looking to appoint an experienced, full-time teacher to join our Federation, based at one of our effective and popular schools. The successful candidate will work alongside a full-time Learning Support Assistant to support our small-scale, personalised approach. Experience of teaching in Key Stage 2, alongside a keen interest in humanities is also desirable.
You will:
- be passionate about teaching and learning;
- be an outstanding practitioner;
- deliver creative, inspiring and enriching learning opportunities;
- set high expectations and standards for all children;
- work as part of a team, forming positive relationships with staff, pupils and parents;
- work within a curriculum team to lead an area, for example, humanities;
- uphold the strong caring ethos and inclusive environments of both our schools, placing children's emotional health and well-being at the centre;
- be committed to your own professional development and actively seek opportunities to extend your skills.
