We are looking to recruit an Upper Key Stage 2 leader who is responsible for teaching Year 6. This role attracts a TLR2a allowance of £2,796. This is a full time, permanent contract and the successful candidate will start in January 2021.

Expectations of the role:
To model outstanding classroom practice within the classroom
To be responsible for the operational day-to-day running of a Key Stage (including key events) and ensuring compliance to policy within the Key Stage.
To be the first point of contact for queries in relation to the Key Stage.

The Baird Primary Academy is a school for 4 to 11-year olds in Hasting, East Sussex. We focus on developing our pupils love of learning so they can ‘fly high’. In 2019 we were presented with the Marjorie Boxall Quality Mark Award for our outstanding nurturing environment and inclusive provision. Our creative curriculum engages pupils with personalised learning and practical experiences. We have two classes in each year group welcoming children from our local community. We also hosts a nursery for children aged from 3 years.
