St James’ CE Primary School is a lively and vibrant Church of England school in the centre of Hereford. Our pupils and their families are fantastic, which is why the Governing Body is seeking to appoint a strong, highly committed and enthusiastic class teacher who can teach in our wonderful primary school.

This is an opportunity for someone looking to take the next step in their career. It would be suitable for an experienced middle leader or a current senior leader. The position would involve leading a core subject and being part of the school’s Senior Leadership Team.

We are looking for an experienced teacher who:

  • has a passion to work in a team that constantly seeks to deliver the very best educational experiences to all its pupils;
  • has excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
  • has experience of working closely with senior leaders
  • has experience of teaching in the primary phase;
  • will inspire and enthuse our pupils to love learning;
  • has high expectations of pupil behaviour;
  • is keen to further develop their teaching skills and
  • has a sense of humour.
  • Has led a whole school project which has impacted positively on pupil progress.
