VARIOUS SEN ROLES
Required for September 2022
Multiple posts have become available due to the expansion of our SEN Department and development of the support we provide our students.
Learning Support Assistant – working in learning support area (NASA)
KR3, Term Time Only, Fixed Term contract (1 year)
Learning Support Assistant – supporting Physically Disabled student (in class only)
KR3, Term Time Only, Fixed Term contract (1 year)
Learning Support Assistant – providing interventions support
KR3, Term Time Only, Fixed Term contract (1 year)
PD Welfare Assistant – supporting Physically Disabled student (in class and with personal care)
KR3 (+SEN Allowance), Term Time Only, Permanent
These are exciting opportunities for experienced and dedicated staff to take on generalist or specialist roles helping students with a range of needs to enhance their learning by supporting the teaching staff at our school. The successful candidates will support and provide learning activities for our students, under the professional direction and supervision of the SENCO, Deputy SENCO and Lead LSA staff.
Professional and adaptable individuals are required to work across subject areas, to proactively support students with their learning and welfare needs in order to maximise their levels of achievement and independence.
It would be an advantage to have experience of working in a similar post or school setting and a good level of numeracy and literacy and a level 3 Diploma or equivalent is essential.
