Vice Principal job summary
We are looking to appoint an inspirational leader to build on the strengths of the academy and the community.

You will be an established primary leader with the skill and vision to realise the huge potential of all-through education. You will take overall responsibility for the performance of the academy. To do this well, you will need to learn quickly, develop strong structures and provide clear strategic direction to the talented staff team.
We particularly welcome candidates with skills in SEND and/or Safeguarding.

At Richard Wakefield C.E. Primary Academy, everyone works with pride to achieve their personal best. There are 269 pupils aged from 3 to 11 years. Many of the children live in the lovely village of Tutbury, which is about five miles from Burton-upon-Trent. The academy is fortunate to have the spectacular setting of Tutbury Castle in the background.
