We are looking for a dedicated and experienced Vice Principal to join our senior leadership team and become a pivotal figure in shaping the future of our students. In this role you will have a strong pastoral focus and play a crucial role in nurturing a supportive and inclusive school environment.

As a Vice Principal, you will work closely with the Principal and Senior Team to provide strategic leadership and management, embodying our ethos of high expectations and fostering a culture of respect and care. Serving as a visible ambassador for our Academy, you will uphold our commitment to safeguarding and promoting the safety and well-being of all pupils and staff.

You will focus on pastoral elements to support the Principal and Senior Team in both strategic and operational leadership. If you're passionate about fostering a culture of high expectations, promoting student wellbeing, and ensuring a safe and inclusive learning environment, we want to hear from you.

Maltings is a 11-16 academy based in Witham, Essex. Situated between the cities of Chelmsford and Colchester, the academy has 900 students on roll and benefits from a purpose-built building that was constructed in 2011. There are excellent transport links to London which enables our staff and young people to take full advantage of the wealth of opportunities that London provides.
