We have an aspirational culture at the academy that encourages everyone – students and staff alike – to achieve their best. Underpinned by our values of belief, aspiration, achievement and respect, the academy has successfully been rated ‘Good’ by Ofsted.

As a part of United Learning, our academy benefits from shared resources, experiences, working practices and CPD opportunities that are second to none. We are delighted to have been named as the Group’s United Teaching centre for the North from September 2016, and we work with our partner schools to provide high-quality training for current staff and trainees. This affords further opportunities for staff to provide a vital contribution in our pursuit to deliver the highest standards of educational excellence.
