Are you ready to join our dynamic team of senior leaders?

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the leadership team at The Baird in the position of Vice Principal as the academy develops an exciting and innovative new Trust-wide provision for pupils with social, emotional and mental health difficulties. The successful candidate will work closely with the Principal to drive school improvement and to further establish a progressive, knowledge-rich curriculum which enables our pupils to excel. The Vice Principal will focus on the development of teaching, learning and assessment across the academy, using coaching and mentoring to support teachers on their journey to providing outstanding education for all of our pupils.

The Baird Primary Academy is a school for 4 to 11-year olds in Hasting, East Sussex. We focus on developing our pupils love of learning so they can ‘fly high’. In 2019 we were presented with the Marjorie Boxall Quality Mark Award for our outstanding nurturing environment and inclusive provision. Our creative curriculum engages pupils with personalised learning and practical experiences. We have two classes in each year group welcoming children from our local community. We also hosts a nursery for children aged from 3 years.
