Videographer job summary

The role is offered on a part-time, permanent basis working 10 hours per week term time only. The hours of work can be agreed between the successful candidate and the department.

About the Videographer Role

The role will involve working with our creative Marketing team to produce and edit engaging video content to support both the College’s marketing strategy and the wider Sir John Brunner Foundation for student and staff recruitment. Content will be shared on the College’s website and social media platforms.

The role would fit well with our Media Technician vacancy should the successful candidate wish to carry out both roles.

Your Responsibilities As Our Videographer:

  • Set up video shoots both effectively and creatively
  • Proactively ensure sufficient footage is gathered to secure the success of the relevant project
  • Edit videos to create high quality visually appealing content
  • Keep up to date with the latest video and social media trends to generate ideas for content
  • Ensure all videos are edited in a timely manner to meet project deadlines

What we’re looking for in our ideal Videographer:

  • Proficient in video shooting and editing software
  • Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite
  • Excellent attention to detail and creative skills
