- Are you a highly skilled, creative and ambitious Teacher of Science?

- Are you able to teach any two of the Science disciplines at KS3 and 4?
- Are you able to teach Chemistry, Physics or Biology to A-Level?

Waingels, a popular 11-18 school where students achieve above national average and was identified as “continuing to be good” in a recent OFSTED inspection, is seeking to appoint an experiencedTeacher of Sciencefrom September 2025 to add further capacity to this highly successful, popular subject.
This is an exciting opportunity for either a new or recently qualified teacher or an experienced teacher seeking a new challenge and the chance to develop their skills in a highly supportive environment. We would consider full or part- time teachers.
Science is taught in ten, well equipped, dedicated laboratories with excellent supported provided by three technicians. A topic based curriculum at Key Stage 3 prepares students well for studying Single, Double or Separate sciences at GCSE where our results continue to improve every year. A-Levels in Biology, Chemistry and Physics and BTEC Applied Human Biology are always popular subjects at post-16.
