What skills and experience we're looking for

We are excited to offer this unique and rewarding position with sole responsibility for the preparation, cooking and service of dinner for up to 35 boarders and duty staff. Initially this person will have the ability to follow the agreed menu and recipes, as well as knowledge of health and safety and food hygiene regulations. Once established in the role our Cook will be able to work in conjunction with the students to set their own menus using ingredients which reflect their tastes and preferences.

We are open to applications from candidates who have experience of cooking meals from scratch and who want to develop their skills in a welcoming and supportive kitchen.

The ability to work additional hours during the week and for school functions is also available. We offer an Employee Assistance Programme and the use of our swimming pool during the summer months.
