Welfare Assistant job summary
We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic welfare assistant to join our school family. We require a caring individual to support a Y5 pupil. The role will involve working with the class teacher to break tasks down, to offer support, encouragement and guidance and to support during unstructured times. We want someone who is able to promote and reinforce children's self-esteem and encourage positive attitudes and social interaction.
The post is for 30 hours a week, 8:30-3pm, though we can be flexible with regards to start and finish times. Experience of working with girls with ASC would be beneficial. The contract would be temporary. Pay is dependent upon experience and qualifications
