Wellbeing Officer job summary
At Castle Manor Academy we are seeking a Wellbeing Officer to join our Wellbeing Team.
This is a new role, with the aim of further supporting our students 1:1 or in small groups with their emotional wellbeing and mental health through two intervention programmes: Emotional Literacy Support (ELSA) and Trauma-Informed Practitioner status.
While you will receive full training for both programmes, you might already have experience of working with people and their mental health- perhaps through being a mental health first aider or a Thrive Practitioner or as a counsellor. It is essential that you have good literacy and numeracy skills with a GCSE equivalent in English and Maths. You will be a person who works well under pressure, is proactive and is good at seeing and solving problems with confidence.
At all times, we expect our staff to demonstrate our PROUD values: Professional, Resilient, Optimistic, Understanding and Driven.
In return we can offer you:
• A friendly and welcoming team
• A supportive leadership team
• A workplace which focuses on your development and wellbeing
