Wellbeing Practitioner job summary
A unique opportunity has arisen to become a part of our support staff team. We are looking for a vibrant and enthusiastic individual who would support with behaviour throughout the school. The roles covered include: being a Designated Senior Lead in regards to safeguarding, working with and supporting families, providing emotional support for children in school and developing children into role models.
We can offer professional development and training opportunities including gaining Level 2 in safeguarding and becoming a DSL. We have a very friendly and supportive staff team, and engaged learners who thrive in a positive environment.
The role includes supporting pupils' engagement with our school dog, Paddington, having a calming effect on pupils, improving their self-esteem and encouraging participation in more withdrawn pupils.
This contract is 36.25 hours per week (8.45am - 4.30pm with 30 minutes for lunch) term time only.

This post may be fixed term initially leading to a permanent contract.
