- A relevant qualification or equivalent experience
- Proven ability to produce reports and accurately interpret information and data
- Good team working skills, and able to work to deadlines
- A strong student focus, holding safeguarding at the centre of their practice.

THE ROLE
As a Work Experience Coordinator you will work with students to ensure they are all able to access work experience placements that allow them to gain positive and relevant experience of the world of work.
You will achieve this through building good relationships with employers and other work experience coordinators in schools across the Island. You will liaise with students, parents and teachers to assess work experience needs, in order to match students with appropriate placements, enabling them to gain a meaningful and enjoyable experience.
In addition, you will carry out workplace risk assessments, monitoring of effectiveness of placements and associated administrative duties. You will also be required to support in class as a Level 3 Learning Support Assistant as and when the Work Experience Coordinator role allows.
