Wrap Around Care Assistant job summary

Wraparound Care Assistant

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Wraparound Care Assistant to join our team at Beaminster St Mary's Academy. In this role, you will support the Wraparound Care Manager in providing a safe and engaging environment for our pupils before and after the school day.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist in the supervision and care of children during wraparound hours
Ensure the safety and well-being of all children in your care
Participate in the planning and delivery of a range of age-appropriate activities and games
Maintain accurate records and communicate effectively with parents/carers
Adhere to the school's safeguarding policies and procedures

Requirements:

Experience working with children in an educational or childcare setting
Knowledge of safeguarding practises and a commitment to promoting the welfare of children
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work as part of a team and be flexible in your approach
Relevant childcare or playwork qualifications are desirable
