Wrap around care assistant job summary

We are looking to recruit staff to supervise children in our breakfast and/or after school clubs.

Hours of work would be 7.30-8.30am for breakfast club.

3.15-5.15pm for after school club with an additional 45 minutes (until 6pm) on selected days to meet the needs of the school.

Hours and days can be negotiated at interview with the headteacher.

We expect the successful candidate to:

Have experience of working in a primary school setting or running a wrap around type club i.e. breakfast, lunch or after school

Have high expectations of behaviour and inspire and motivate our children

Be supportive, nurturing and understanding with high expectations

Seek to make after school club exciting and a positive experience

Plan and offer a range of sporting and other activities daily

Promote After School Club via social media to support growth

Communicate well with parents, carers and members of staff, as well as pupils.

Work closely with staff as part of a team;

Be willing to contribute to school life outside of the classroom.

Be fully supportive of the strong Christian ethos of the school and it’s values
