Wrap Around Care Lead job summary

Job Purpose

The post holder will be responsible for the running of the Wrap Around Care to maintain a safe and stimulating environment and to ensure opportunities which encourage our children's social, physical, intellectual, creative and emotional development through play.

There will be opportunities to develop within the school and make a valued contribution to our children's learning.

This is a fixed-term role until 31/08/2025 with the view to review, starting as soon as possible , working for 5 hours per week, term time only.

As a Wrap Around Care Lead, you will:

  • Supervise our children during wraparound care sessions
  • Plan, set up, prepare and coordinate the weekly timetable and ensure appropriate resources and healthy snacks are provided
  • Maintain attendance registers/accidents records/safeguarding concerns
  • Ensure al equipment is cleared away at the end of every session
  • Play an active role in providing a safe and stimulating environment
  • To work face to face with children registered with the club and communicate with parents/carers in a professional manner
  • To carry out light domestic duties
