Wraparound Care Assistant job summary

Easton Royal Academy, Wiltshire is a small rural primary school, set in a lovely village, close to Marlborough, between Pewsey and Burbage.

We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and dedicated Wraparound Care Assistant to join our happy and successful school.

At Easton Royal, our children are at the heart of everything we do. We take great pride in the progress they make both academically and socially, within a nurturing and caring environment. These values extend into our wraparound care provision, which is a highly valued part of our school community.

We are looking for someone who shares our commitment to providing a safe, supportive, and engaging environment for all children, before and after the school day. This is a fantastic opportunity to play a key role in a well-established and much-loved service.

Main responsibilities would include;

  • Supervising children aged between 4 & 11
  • Leading a range of imaginative activities
  • Setting up and storing equipment, leaving all facilities clean and tidy
  • Maintain paediatric first aid qualification
  • To keep confidential any information regarding the children, their families or other staff
  • Preparing and serving breakfast and drinks.
  • To undertake any other reasonable duties as directed by the Wraparound Care Leader

A first aid certificate and food hygiene certificate would be an advantage, but not essential as full training will be given.

Easton Royal School is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment. All applicants will be subject to a full Disclosure and Barring Service check before appointment is confirmed.
