What skills and experience we're looking for
We are looking for a full time Year 1/2 Class Teacher to join our friendly, committed and hardworking team from February 2024 (or sooner if possible). We are a small, successful, highly regarded primary school with cohort sizes of 17. Main Pay Scale teachers are welcome to apply. A potential TLR is on offer for the right candidate with appropriate leadership experience. An interest or passion for Maths and driving improvements in Maths across school would be desirable.

We are seeking to appoint a highly motivated, enthusiastic and excellent classroom practitioner who has a proven record of working at a high standard which supports excellent outcomes for children within a school.
To help take this Academy school to outstanding, the ideal candidate would be able to show:
A secure understanding of the expectations of the Year 1 and 2 curriculum are desirable.

- Understanding of the expectations for the Year 1 Phonics Screening Check and end of Key Stage 1 assessments
- An enthusiastic, proactive and lively manner
- Be a committed and inspirational teacher with a passion for Key Stage 1

- Great teamwork and the ability to maintain a positive outlook
- The ability to build good relationships with children, parents/carers and colleagues
