Year 2 Class Teacher job summary
Grasvenor Avenue Infant School is an inclusive and welcoming 1-form entry Infant school with a staff team committed to helping all children achieve their full potential.
We are seeking to appoint an excellent teacher to lead our current Year 2 class for the rest of this academic year. You will have good subject knowledge and will be willing to take the opportunity to play a full part in the further development of our school, joining us in our aims to make learning fun and inspirational. We all strive to provide a nurturing and safe environment for everyone, understanding that all children are unique. Child-centred planning, outdoor learning, independent, small group and 1:1 learning underpins our teaching style here at Grasvenor and as a result we welcome applications from EYFS experienced teachers, as well as teachers with KS1 or 2 experience.
This is an exciting opportunity to join a very special 1 form entry infant school, with supportive and approachable senior leadership (of course you can be the judge of that!) and governance. We are thrilled to have committed support staff who go above and beyond in supporting our pupils and delivering the teaching alongside the class teachers. As a small school we have a wonderful family atmosphere where pupils, staff and families alike can find their place and feel valued.
Visits to the school are encouraged. Please contact the school office on 02084496053 to arrange a personal tour with the Head of School.
For an application form and further details please contact the school. Completed application forms should be returned to the school.
