What skills and experience we're looking for

  • Thorough knowledge of teaching and assessment practices at KS1
  • Experience and knowledge of teaching and assessing synthetic phonics
  • High expectations of pupil behaviour, themselves and the children in their care
  • Ability to challenge learners at all levels
  • Experience of working with SEN and EAL learners
  • A commitment to making a difference and to raising aspirations
  • Can demonstrate effective organisational skills
  • Able to work as part of a team

Initially the contract will be a 1 year fixed term but has the potential to be extended to a full time permanent contract (dependent on budgetary constraints)
