Year 4 Teacher Fixed term job summary

We are looking for a talented teacher with energy and enthusiasm who can inspire our children with a love of learning during the spring and summer terms 2021. We have 3 classes in each year group so the successful candidates will be well supported by the year group teaching team within our friendly, busy school.
The post would suit a well-qualified and talented NQT or someone with experience, equally well-qualified and talented, who may be in the earlier stage of their teaching career. Please state your curriculum strengths. English, geography or art would be an advantage but excellent teaching skills outweigh this.
The post is fixed term Spring and Summer term 2021, with the strong possibility of becoming permanent, budgetary constraints permitting.

Blackwood School caters for 692 children aged between 3 and 11 years of age. They are accommodated in single age band classes, 3 classes per year group, from full-time Reception children to Year 6 pupils. We do have a nursery that can accommodate 78 young children, most of whom come through into the main school. We are tucked away in spacious, well-kept grounds in Streetly, a residential area on the outskirts of Walsall. We have a large playing field, 2 large playgrounds, a conservation area and wooded areas on site, part of which we use for a Forest School setting. All classrooms are fitted with interactive boards and visualisers, all teaching staff have their own laptops and each year group has a set of I-pads to help develop independent learning skills.
