What skills and experience we're looking for
This is an exciting opportunity to join our Academy, where putting students first is part of our fundamental culture. We strongly believe that positive outcomes for our students come from the professionalism, commitment and passion for excellence displayed by our staff.
This post plays a key strategic and operational role within the AcademyPrimary Phase by supporting the wider Academy Leadership Team. The successful post-holder will contribute to the creation and implementation of plans to identify priorities and targets for ensuring that pupils achieve high standards and make good progress.
You would be working within a supportive team of committed teachers and support staff. There are twenty-four classes within our Primary Phase, we have strong links to the local community and work hard to constantly achieve the best practice and provision for our students.
You will need to be either, an outstanding classroom practitioner already, or someone that can demonstrate the potential to become outstanding quickly, with a commitment to continuous professional development.
You will also need to have good behaviour management skills and the ability to inspire and develop students in order to raise standards and maximise their potential.
