What skills and experience we're looking for
The teacher will:
- Fulfil the professional responsibilities of a teacher, as set out in the School Teachers’ Pay and Conditions Document
- Meet the expectations set out in the Teachers’ Standards
- Continuously uphold and champion the school culture
- Possess strong subject/wider primary curriculum knowledge
- Utilise their subject /year group specialism effectively across all areas of intent and implementation to secure impact that supports our journey to OFSTED outstanding
- Be flexible in terms of their deployment and wider responsibilities

- Devise subject intent that meets academic and personal development expectations, is aspirational and engaging for all pupils, enables deep learning and is logically sequenced and progressive with clear end points
- Implement all aspects of the school’s intent inclusively, positively and precisely
- Embed assessment for learning strategies and promote consistently high expectations to maximise impact
- Ensure effective safeguarding and all aspects of professional life and practice are underpinned by the school’s core values (The Sutton Six) and British Values, school policy, procedure and expectations
