Year 6 Class Teacher job summary
We are seeking an experienced, enthusiastic and motivated teacher to work with the class, from January until the end of the year. This is a temporary, full time position but depending on the performance of the successful candidate, it may be made permanent from September 2022.
The successful candidate will have high expectations in all areas of school life and a passion for ensuring the highest possible outcomes for pupils. They will work within an experienced Key Stage 2 team and benefit from rich professional development and support, relevant to the role. They will deliver a broad and balanced curriculum that is not overly influenced by preparation for statutory assessments. A high level of additional staffing support will be given to prepare suitably for SATs, at the appropriate time.
In our Catholic school, it is desirable for staff to have a strong personal faith, but essential to fully immerse themselves in the Catholic teaching of the school.
