Sewell Park Academy, part of the Broad Horizons Education Trust, is looking to appoint a Year Leader to join our team. The school has a burgeoning reputation culminating in achieving ‘the best OFSTED grading in its history', whilst growing with ever-increasing student and staff numbers.


It requires working closely with students, teaching staff, parents and the Senior Leadership team. The Year Leader team manage all aspects of Pastoral support, Behaviour and Attendance, including the internal exclusion room in order to meet the needs of our students. This has a vital contribution to more effective learning through improved behaviour and social skills.


Personal qualities are of paramount importance, and the person appointed will be expected to display enthusiasm, resilience, good humour, flexibility and reliability. They must also have the ability to work independently and as part of a busy team.
